The Sith Empire would have collapsed long ago if its leaders did not comprehend just how to
motivate their people with more than just threats and intimidation. Sith
Lords are generous to their subjects, showering common citizens with
the rich spoils of conquered worlds. Enslaved populations are parceled
out to Imperial household as slaves, servants and laborers, ensuring
lives of comfort and luxury for their masters. Often times victory is
celebrated through decadent parades through the streets of Kaas City,
encouraging the citizenry to look upon the might of the Empire.
Though the war wages on with both victory and failure, back on Kaas it
is only good news that reaches the masses and what better way to inspire
further loyalty and hope in the inevitable Imperial Victory than a
grand parade showcasing the might at the fingertips of the Empire and a
celebration to share the wealth of planets brought to heel?
I am curious about the name choice for Azil'mort. How did you come across that name? I know Azil'mort is blue and Azil can be close to azure meaning blue, but I could be wrong. I am thinking that Azil might come from an admiration to the character Azazel in the Marvel comics or from the word in Hebrew עֲזָאזֵל which can be read as "for absolute removal" or "for Azazel." Followed by Mort I can assume to be from Mortis "of death." So Azil'mort can be "For absolute removal of death."
It’s actually not all that exciting. The two parts were yoinked from the random name generator. I was simply repeatedly clicking the button and saw something like “Asel” and “Morn” pass by and tried combining those. Tweaked it a little and after Jedi Azil’morn, Sith Azil’mort was born.
The fact that it means “Asylum of Death” in some languages is therefore entirely coincidental. I wish I was that smart.
